What is Core4?  

Core4 is the premier conference for building and refining the core skills every learning and development professional needs to succeed: Evaluating Impact, Instructional Design, Training Delivery and Facilitation, and Emerging Trends.

Who should attend the Core4 conference? 

This conference has 200+ attendees.  Whether you’re new to the field or are an experienced professional looking to stay at the top of your game, this event will help you advance your career through new ideas, perspectives, skill development, and, most importantly, professional connections with others in the L&D field.

If I am attending virtually, do I have to attend the live event dates to participate?   

No, you do not. We understand you may have other commitments during the event dates. Most sessions will be recorded and available on demand after the event. The session recordings will be available on the virtual platform by Monday, October 6. 

 

Will this event be recorded? 

Portions of this conference will be recorded. Session recordings* will be available on demand beginning October 6, 2025. Keynote sessions will be available until October 31, 2025. All other sessions will be available until November 21, 2025. 

*The recording list is subject to change in the event of technical difficulties. 

 

I can’t find the speaker/session resources for a particular session. 

Speakers are not required to provide a PowerPoint or handout for their session. Therefore, if you do not find a resource for a session the speaker did not provide it. 

 

Is CE Credit available for participating in the conference (ATD CI, HRCI, and SHRM)?  

Core 4 participants are eligible for CE hours with the ATD Certification Institute, HRCI, and SHRM. Attendees must complete an evaluation for each session attended in Orlando, FL, September 29 – October 1, 2025, to receive credit for the session on their transcript. You will complete your session surveys through the virtual platform or directly on the evaluation site which will be provided via email. By October 6, 2025, you will receive an email with a link to the session evaluation website to download and/or print your transcript and certificate of attendance for use in self-reporting your earned continuing education credits (CEs) for certification or re-certification with each credentialing body.  

You will need to complete a session survey for each individual session to appear on your transcript. Please complete your session and speaker evaluations by December 10, 2025, to have the sessions listed on your final transcript. 

Please note: Not all sessions may be eligible for ATD Certification Institute (ATD CI) credits. The credit hours displayed for SHRM and HRCI represent the maximum amount one can receive, based on full participation and session eligibility. 

 

Is there a mobile app?  

Yes. Download the ATD Conferences and Events mobile app for this conference. The mobile app will be released 2 weeks before the conference. The conference schedule planner and virtual platform is an online version of the mobile app. Attendees can build their schedule on the virtual platform which will transfer to the mobile app once it is live. The conference schedule planner will be available in mid-July. 

 

Can I bring a guest to any of the events? 

All attendees must have a paid registration in-person registration to attend the Core4 conference in Orlando or a virtual registration to attend the Core4 conference virtually.

What’s included with my registration?  

Your in-person registration includes access to all keynotes and concurrent sessions, a networking event Tuesday, September 30, 2025, breakfast and lunch Tuesday, September 30, 2025, breakfast Wednesday, October 1, 2025, and unique networking opportunities throughout the conference.  In-person registration also includes access to the virtual conference and on-demand content. 

Your virtual registration includes access to the virtual conference and on-demand content. 

 

Can I get a Day Pass?  

No, we do not offer day passes for this event. You must purchase a full conference in-person or virtual registration to gain access to any of the events.   

Do you offer discounts for groups?   

Yes, you can attend ATD Core4 as a team at a discounted rate. Visit our Core4 Conference Teams page for more information. 

Are meals included? What if I have dietary restrictions?   

ATD will provide breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, and breakfast Wednesday, October 1, 2025. If you have specific restrictions or need special meal accommodations, please complete the ATD Conference Accessibility Form by September 12, 2025, so we can plan accordingly. A team member will be in touch closer to the program to detail options. 

What if I need special accommodation or auxiliary aid?   

ATD events are accessible to all participants. If you require special accommodation or auxiliary aid related to a disability to enjoy the full conference experience, please let us know by completing the ATD Conference Accessibility Form by September 12, 2025. ATD staff will follow up with you to discuss your needs and identify the best plan to provide accommodation moving forward.

Are there reduced rates for hotel rooms at the conference?  

ATD has negotiated reduced rates and special benefits for Core4 attendees with Renaissance Orlando at Sea World. Rooms will be as low as $219 per night, plus a $25 resort fee.  

Resort Fee includes:  

  • Daily Shuttle Service to Disney Theme Parks, Disney Springs and Universal 
  • Daily enhanced Wi-Fi in guest room 
  • One-time welcome resort beverage, 2 coupons per room per stay 
  • Daily Basic Wireless in meeting space
